Georgia Morgan Taylor died on Saturday, Jan. 16, 2010 in Oceanside, Calif. from complications of Alzheimer’s Disease. Memorial services will be held at 10:30 a.m., Saturday, Feb. 13, in Orange at Cove Baptist Church.  A luncheon will be held for all friends and family immediately following services.

Isaac Acosta, 69, of Orange, died Thursday, Feb. 4, 2010, in Houston. A Mass of Christian Burial will be 10 a.m., Tuesday, Feb. 9, 2010 at St. Mary Catholic Church. Officiating will be the Rev. Joseph P. Daleo. Burial will follow at St. Mary Catholic Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5-9 p.m., Monday, at Claybar Funeral Home in Orange with a rosary at 7 p.m.

Mary Ilene Fontenot, 58, of Bridge City, passed on Friday, Feb. 5, 2010 surrounded by her family. A memorial service will be 6 p.m., Tuesday, Feb. 9, at Claybar Funeral Home in Bridge City.  Officiating will be Pastor George Cruse Jr. Family will receive guests to celebrate her life from 5 p.m. till the time of service.

Floyd Lee Broomes Jr., 70, of Orange, passed away Friday, Feb. 5, 2010 at Harbor Hospital in Orange.  A Mass of the Resurrection will be at 2:30 p.m., Tuesday, Feb. 9 at St. Francis Catholic Community on Meeks Drive in Orange.  Officiating will be the Rev. Tom Phelan, pastor of the church.  Rite of Committal will follow at the St. Mary Catholic Cemetery Mausoleum in Orange.  A gathering of family and friends for a time of reflection will be 5-9 p.m., Monday at Dorman Funeral Home in Orange with a Christian wake to be held at 6:30 p.m. 

OrangeCleo Burkart, 72, of the Cove community of Orange, passed away Tuesday, Feb. 2, 2010, in her home. Funeral services were Friday in Dorman Funeral Home. Interment was in Evergreen Cemetery.

Lillie Laura (Bill) Burch of Orange died on Sunday, Jan. 31, 2010, at the age of 99 years, 9 months and 13 days. Funeral services will be held at Claybar Funeral Home in Orange at 1 p.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 3 with Chuck Burch, her nephew, officiating. Visitation will be held from 5 p.m. until 9 p.m. on Tuesday at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Forest Lawn Cemetery in West Orange.

Samuel Allen Hopkins Jr., 53, of Beaumont, died Saturday, Jan. 30, 2010, at Methodist Hospital in Houston.
