Gisela Houseman and Dr. Marty Rutledge helped cut the ribbon for Orange County's new hospital at the Gisela Houseman Medical Campus off Interstate 10 east of Texas Highway 62. The hospital is operated by Christus St. Elizabeth in Beaumont and includes in-patient rooms plus a 24-hour a day emergency room. The county has been without a hospital for seven years.
