Orange Forrest Bankston Moody Jr., 78, of Orange, died Thursday, June 12, 2008 at Harbor Hospital in Orange.

Funeral services were 2:00 p.m., Sunday, June 15, at Claybar Funeral Home in Orange. Officiating was the Rev. David Turner. Burial followed at Orange Forest Lawn Cemetery. Visitation was Saturday at Claybar Funeral Home.

Forrest was born on Jan. 29, 1930 in Bothwell, Miss. He was the son of Forrest B. and Rhoda (Walley) Moody Sr. He worked at General Box Company as Plant Manager. He was a member and deacon at Little Cypress Baptist Church.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Forrest and Rhoda Moody Sr .; Survivors include his wife, Frances Moody; sons and daughters-in-law, Alan B. and Reneé Moody Sr., Robert W. and Michelle Moody all of Fort Worth, Kenneth D. and Rhonda Moody of Weatherford, and John C. and Shelley Moody of Lake Jackson; grandchildren, Alan Moody Jr., Joshua Moody, Marilyn Moody, Heath Moody, Lara Hutcherson, Chris Bitner, Austin Bitner, Nathan Moody, Miranda Sessums, Matthew Moody, Jeffrey Moody, Eric Moody, Michael Moody, and Stephen Moody; seven great-grandchildren; and brother, Lynwood Moody and wife Gayle of Richton, Miss.


Serving as pallbearers were grandsons.

Honorary pallbearers were the Deacons at Little Cypress Baptist Church.
