BC Lady Cardinal foursome begin tournament action as Seahawks

Four former Bridge City Lady Cardinal softball standouts will take the field together again as Lamar-PA Lady Seahawks in the Bossier Parish Softball Tournament, Sataurday, Sept 20.
Former Bridge City Lady Cardinal catcher Christina Jaques, infielders Lauren and Jenna Angelle and pitcher Shandi Conner have brought their games to the next level for the Lady Seahawks. As a freshman Jaques was named All-Conference last season for the Seahawks and is joined this season by the Angelle sisters and Conner who were 2008 graduates of Bridge City High School.
The foursome will face Northeast Texas Community
College at 9 a.m. for game one and Bossier Parish
Community College in game two at 10:30 a.m. The Seahawks will then take on Ouachita Baptist
University at 1:30 p.m. and the University of
Arkansas-Monticello at 3 p.m.
