Vidor Clifford Edward “Red” Talcott, 89, of Vidor, died Saturday, July, 11, 2009 at his residence. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m., Thursday, at Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor, with burial to follow at Restlawn Memorial Park in Vidor. Visitation will begin at 6 p.m., Wednesday, at the funeral home.

A native of Hardstey, Okla., he has lived in Vidor since 1938. Red was a self-employed mechanic. He and Bertha Juanita celebrated their 70th wedding anniversary July 5. 

Red is survived by his wife, Bertha Juanita Talcott; sons, Earl and Frank Talcott, both of Vidor, Donald Talcott of China; daughter, Linell Soileau of China; brother, Daniel Talcott of Guymon, Okla .; 10 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren and 7 great-great-grandchildren.
