Orozco weds Loehr

Nina Orozco became the bride of Evan Loehr at 3 p.m. on Sept. 5, 2009 at St. Louis Catholic Church in Austin, Texas.

The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Orozco of Bridge City and the granddaughter of Aurelia Orozco and the late Ralph Orozco of Port Arthur and Petrita Hernandez and the late Jose Hernandez of Orange. She graduated from Bridge City High School in 2000 and holds a batchelor’s degree in criminal justice from Sam Houston State in Huntsville.

The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Michael Loehr of Boonville, Ind. He graduated from Boonville High School and holds a batchelor’s degree in criminal justice from Champlain College in Burlington, Vt.

Attending the bride as matron of honor was Angel Shaeffer, brides maids were Mary Jane Coker and Mitzi Stoute.

Ruel Loehr served as best man, groomsmen were Bobby Orozco and Jeremy Padgett, while Julian Martinez was the ring bearer. The site of the reception was at the Renaissance Austin Hotel in the Glass Oaks ball room.


Prenuptial courtesies included a bridal shower given by family and friends.

Following their honeymoon in Las Vaegas, the couple will reside in Austin.
