From left, Orange Boat Club members John Thomas, Eric Ellison and Ron Strahan with a $1,000 donation to the 100 Club, a private organization that benefits families of peace officers and firefighters killed in the line of duty.

Ellison is also president of the Orange Municipal Police Association, which gave an additional $3,750.

Most recently, the 100 Club provided funds to the estate of Beaumont Officer Lisa Beaulieu, struck by a car in 2007 while directing traffic.
