Blue Santa Donation from Chevron/ Phillips

Chevron/ Phillips Chemical Company made a $500 donation to the Orange County Sheriffs Office Blue Santa program Thursday. 

Blue Santa is a program that provides holiday gifts for underprivileged children in Orange County. The program, in existence for over twenty-five years, is organized by the Orange County Sheriff’s Office and entirely supported by donations from the local community. Toy donation collection boxes will be placed around the community. A list of donation centers will be available later in the month.

The sheriff’s office will be accepting applications for the Blue Santa program Nov. 1-25. Application must be completely filled out and submitted with all required documents, in person at the sheriff’s office, located at 205 S. Border St. in Orange, 8 a.m. - 5 p.m., Monday through Friday. Applications are available at the Sheriff’s Office.

The applicant should keep a copy of the application along with copies of the required documents to take to the VFW on Highway 87 for gift distribution, which is scheduled for Dec. 12.


REQUIRED DOCUMENTS: Each parent’s driver’s license or ID, birth certificate, and social security card for each child, and a current utility bill.
