The long-awaited restoration of Bridge City Intermediate School’s CARE Park is complete. Orange Home Depot  generously volunteered their assistance for the task.

Through the Home Depot Foundation, grants provided funding for picnic tables, flower beds, including top soil and mulch, a new drainage line and repairs to the existing gazebo, plants and trees to complete the design.

Over twenty members of Team Depot led student, parents and faculty volunteers in the day-long restoration effort. Before the sun set, the rebirth of CARE Park was complete.

Bridge City Intermediate deeply appreciates all those parents who spent the day providing tools, equipment and their generous labor.

They especially thank all those students who gave up their Saturday to give the school a new park.

Many thanks to Market Basket and the PTA for the delicious and rejuvenating hot dogs and drinks

The Home Depot Foundation for the grant, provisions and the immeasurable efforts of their Team, the intermediate school offers their unending thanks.

Without the combined assistance of all, CARE Park would yet be a dream.
