Norma Lynn “Putt - Putt” Gibson Allen, 35, of Orange, passed away, Monday, Jan. 10, at Baptist Hospital in Beaumont after an illness.

Funeral services to remember her life will be at 2:00 P.M. Saturday, Jan. 15, at the Orange Ward of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, located at 6108 Hazelwood Drive in Orange. Officiating will be Bishop Billy Blakeney and assisting will be Reverend Alfred Gibson. Committal and Interment will follow services in the Fountain Cemetery in Starks, Louisiana, where she will be placed next to her parents. A gathering of family and friends for a time of reflection will be from 5:00 P.M. until 9:00 P.M. Friday at Dorman Funeral Home in Orange.

Norma was born on April 24, 1975 in Beaumont, Texas to her parents, Norman Gibson and Clara May (Barnes) Gibson, she resided in Orange for the last 6 years and had previously lived in Deweyville and Starks. Norma was a homemaker who will be remembered for her good cooking and her beautiful singing.

She is preceded in death by her parents and her infant brother, Faron Leon Gibson.

Those who will most cherish her memory are her husband, Brandon Lee Allen of Orange; her sister, Delilah Gibson and husband, Hoyt Cassel and their daughter, Ava of Starks; her father and mother- in-law, John R. Allen and Judy Anne Allen of Orange; her sister-in-law, Anne Renee Lillyquist and husband, Jason Paul and their sons, Tyler and Brandon all of Orange. Norma is also survived by numerous extended family and friends.

Honoring Norma as pallbearers will be Alfred Gibson, Michael Evans, Robert Manshack, Glenn Michael West, Cody Moore and Hoyt Cassel, Jr.
