Monday morning Orange police officer J.C. Steele was dispatched to a home on 10th St. in reference to a burglary of a habitation. When officer Steele arrived he spoke with the victim, Dawn Wright.

Wright stated that she left her residence around 11:00 A.M. Sunday and returned Monday morning to find her home had been burglarized. She said that when she entered her residence, she noticed the back door was unlocked. Upon making an inventory of her home, she realized two televisions were missing.

One television, a black 36” LG LED flat screen valued at $400.00 was missing from the bedroom. Wright said she didn’t have serial numbers for that television.

Another television was missing from the living room. It was described as a Sanyo 26” flat screen plasma, and was valued at $239.00. She was able to provide a serial number on the Sanyo.

Wright said she didn’t give anybody permission to come into her home or take her property and that she wishes to pursue charges against any suspects involved.

Officer Steele noted that there was damage to a window screen located on the southwest corner of the residence, but no damage to the window. It also looked as though the screens had been ripped off the house.
