Bridge City faced the solid PN-G Indians Tuesday night in a scrimmage. The Cardinals got to see some good pitching, to go along with a good hitting exhibition. The Cardinals were able to get five hits, while scoring five runs, off of the Indian pitching staff. Jacob Lemoine and Matt Menard had four of the five hits, with Forrest Zoch collecting the other. Hayden Guidry pitched two innings, while giving up six hits, walking three, and striking out three. Jacob Lemoine pitched two and a third innings. He allowed two hits, walked four, and struck out one. Colby Carpenter pitched one and two thirds innings, giving up three hits, and walking one. Mitchel Hubbard and Preston Pitman each pitched one inning. They both gave up no hits, issued one base on balls, and they each struck out one. The Indians crossed the plate thirteen times against the Cardinals.

The Bridge City Cardinals and LCM Bears got together for their last scrimmage. The last tune-up lasted nine innings. The Cardinals sent five pitchers to the mound for some work. Mitchel Hubbard, Forrest Zoch, Jacob Lemoine, Hayden Guidry, Zach Smith and Preston Pitman handled the pitching. The Cardinals pitching staff gave up sixteen walks, hit one batter, struck out fourteen, and allowed ten hits, while fourteen runs crossed the plate.
