Warfield Eugene Sebolt, 72, of Deweyville passed away on March 24, at his resident. He was a native of Goldthwaite, Texas; born on July 7, 1938 to parents Tom D. and Mary Ellen (Roush) Sebolt.

He had lived in Deweyville the last 8 Years. He had served his country during two tours of duties, in the Navy from 1955 until 1958 on the USS Union, USS ARD 29, and USS Capps in California, Hawaii, China, Korea, Philippines, and Taiwan. The second tour was in the Army from 1959 until 1962 serving in Fort Knox, KY and Germany. He enjoyed going camping, hunting, garage selling and trips to Wal-Mart. Warfield was a loving man who will be missed dearly.

His was preceded in death by his parents; sisters, Jacque L. Tharp, Elizabeth Ann Smith; brothers, Raymond Edward Sebolt, Thomas Lloyd Sebolt, Milton Earl Sebolt, Bobby Ray Sebolt, Billy Ray Sebolt, Ronnie Glyn Sebolt; nephews, Larry Don Sebolt, Tommy Tharp; and niece Paula Ann Smith.

He is survived by his wife Minnie (Burch) (Ray) Sebolt of Deweyville, daughter, Deborah Ray Holst and husband Howard of Deweyville; grandchildren, Hollis (Traay) Frost III, Leslie Amber Ross; great grandchildren, Cole B Frost, Mason P. Leckelt, Brooklyn P. Leckelt; a special niece, Ellen Sebolt Smith of Odessa; ten nieces and eight nephews.

A visitation will be held on Sunday, March 27, from 5:00 pm until 9:00 pm at Dorman Funeral Home. A Funeral Service will be held on Monday, March 28, at 10:00 am, at the funeral home, with his brother in law officiating, The Rev. James Phillips, pastor of Parkway Baptist Church in Minden, LA; and the Rev Billy R. Burch, pastor of Brownwood Baptist Church in Orange. Burial will follow at King Cemetery in Hartburg.

Serving as pallbearers will be Hollis (Traay) Frost III, James E. Hutson Jr., Stony Leckelt, Bruce Burch, Allen Burch and Drew Morris. Honorary pallbearers will be James A Burch and Tyler Maranda.
