Bridge City Middle School Band

Brings Home Top Award

On March 30, members of the Bridge City Middle School Symphonic Band traveled to Baytown to compete in the Region X UIL Concert and Sight Reading Competition. Thirty one bands from Region X competed for the prestigious Sweepstakes Award.

Bridge City Middle School was awarded the Sweepstakes trophy by earning top ratings from each of the six judges at the competition. This accomplishment has been long awaited for Bridge City Middle School. The last time the band received a Sweepstakes award was ten years ago.

We can all be proud of these band students for representing our community proudly and successfully in a very difficult competition. Congratulations to the students in the Bridge City Middle School Band for their hard work and accomplishment!
