LIT to offer informational financial aid workshops

BEAUMONT – Lamar Institute of Technology will host three financial aid workshops designed to help students and their parents find out about available aid and also how to apply for it.
The workshops will be at noon and 6 p.m. on Wednesday, April 20, and at 6 p.m. on Thursday, April 21. Each session will last an hour.
The workshops will be held at the Multi-Purpose Center, located at 802 E. Lavaca.
Attendees should bring their 2010 W-2 forms, 2010 tax returns, child support printouts, unemployment totals and workers comp benefits. All income/benefit data for students and spouses or students and parents will be considered.
