The Celebration of Life for Mr. Lowell Jones, 70, of Orange, will be Saturday at 11:00 a.m. at the Mount Olive Baptist Church. The Rev. Ronnie A.E. Crockett, Sr., pastor, will officiate.

Rites of Christian Burial will follow in Hollywood Community Cemetery under the direction of Sparrow Funeral Home.

Visitation will be Saturday from 9:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. at the church.

He died Tuesday at Memorial Hermann Baptist Orange Hospital.

A native of Melville, LA, he resided in Orange since 1948. A U.S. Army veteran of the Vietnam Conflict, he was Discharged With Honors.

Survivors include four brothers, Eli Jones and the Rev. Leothus Jones, both of Orange, Julius Jones, Jr. of Bakersfield, CA, and Paul Jones of San Antonio; and two sisters, Geraldine Moore and Velma Jones, both of Orange.
