West Orange's Holiday in the Park set for Nov. 5

The

City of West Orange proudly invites the public to join them in celebrating the

12th annual Holiday in the Park festival on Saturday, Nov. 5. The event will take place next door to

West Orange City Hall on Western Avenue beginning at 10 a.m. that morning,

continuing until dusk that evening.

The

festival, which continues to offer free

admittance, has something for everyone. Dozens of vendors will be selling their

wares, offering a variety of items from foods, sweets, jewelry, toys, gift

items, holiday decorations and the list goes on and on. A children’s area will feature a

Moonwalk and supervised kids’ crafts, both at no charge.

Local entertainment will be spotlighted throughout the

day, performing in the gazebo in the center of the plaza, headlined by Master of


Ceremonies, Shon Branham. Those scheduled to perform to-date

include: the officers of the Bridge City Middle School Pep Squad; West

Orange-Stark Elementary School Choir; Bridge City Elementary School Choir;

Calvary Baptist Church Choir; Tara Pelfrey; Chelsey Chaffin; Brianne Chaffin

and Tiger Rocks Martial Arts.

conjunction with the festival, a Hope

for Health 5K Run/Walk and Fitness Expo will be held in West Orange. The event will begin with a presentation


by Helen Phillips, Season 7 Biggest Loser winner. For more information on this
