The Life of Mrs. Ella Mae Thibodeaux, 88, of Orange, will be celebrated during a Resurrection Mass Saturday at 10:30 a.m. at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church. Father Tom Phelan, pastor, will be the Celebrant.

Rites of Christian Burial will follow in Magnolia Memorial Gardens under the direction of Sparrow Funeral Home.

Christian Wake Services will be held Friday from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. at Sparrow Funeral Home. A Rosary will be prayed at 7:00 p.m.

Visitation will also be held Saturday morning from 9:00 a.m. until 10:00 a.m. at the church.

She died Saturday at The Medical Center of Southeast Texas.

A native of Opelousas, LA, she resided in Orange since 1941.

She is survived by five sons, James Thibodeaux (Mary), (Albert) Peter Thibodeaux (Phyllis), and (John) Warnell Thibodeaux, all of Orange, Eldridge Thibodeaux , Jr. (Pamela) of Galveston, and LeRoy Thibodeaux (Diane) of Hitchcock, TX; five daughters, Willa Mae Ford, Wilda Batchan (William), Rose Pugh, Marian Thibodeaux, and Bernadine Hardin (Tobe IV), all of Orange; sister, Mary Samuels of Chicago, IL; 29 grandchildren, 71 great grandchildren, and 31 great-great grandchildren.
