Mauriceville

Edgar N. Morgan, 77, of Mauriceville died Thursday, March 22, at his residence.

Funeral services were held on Sunday, March 25, at Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor, with burial that followed at Hamrick Cemetery in Collinsville, Miss.

Born on Sept. 9, 1934 and a native of Meridian, Miss., he was a longtime resident of Mauriceville. Edgar was a sheet metal worker with Local Union #196/54 for more than 50 years. He was a member of Oakwood Baptist Church in Mauriceville.

Edgar is survived by his wife Carol Morgan; sons Dale Morgan and his wife Ginny, Donnie Morgan and his wife Sandy; daughters Ann Sowell and her husband Ralph, Amy Morgan all of Mauriceville; brother Lewis Morgan and his wife Kay of Meridian, Miss.; 12 grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren and daddy's special angel Hope Martin.
