Karolyn Courts, 71, of Vidor, died Monday, March 26, at Harbor Hospice House in Beaumont.

A native of Beaumont, she has lived in Vidor since 1960, and was a homemaker and co-owner of C&C Saddle Shop. Karolyn was a member of the Red Hat Society.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m., on Thursday, March 29, at The Cowboy Church in Orange, under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor, with burial to follow at Singleton Cemetery in Vidor.

Visitation will begin at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday, March 28, at The Cowboy Church in Orange.

Karolyn is survived by her husband, Richard Courts; daughters, Anita Phillips and husband, Billy of Vidor, Debbie Spurgeon and husband, Bryan, Brenda Burnham and husband, David, all of Mauriceville; brother, Rudolph Karl Kuritz, Jr and wife, Linda; sisters, Koreen Kuritz of Dallas, Kathy Baker of SC; grandchildren, Kara Phillips, Kyle Phillips, Jake Spurgeon, Tyler Spurgeon, Justin King, Dustin Burnham, and Davey Burnham; great grandchildren, Layton Meguess and Bailen Burnham.
