Gordon Royce Tillman, born July 18, 1936, in Starks, by a mid wife, passed away at age 75, on April 10, in Averdeen, Washington, at his sons home, Keivien Tillman, where he lived for the last 8 years.

He worked at Bethlaham Steel, got his 10 year pin, and joined the Boiler Makers Union Local 587 in Orange, where he retired. Royce and family was a member of Starks Pentecost Church for many years

Royce was preceded in death by wife, Azel Tillman; father and mother, Owen and Taz Tillman; two brothers, Richard and Luther Tillman; two sisters, Nelvie Tillman and Virginia Moore; son, Glenn Tillman; and daughter, Connie Tillman Behan.

Survived by three sons, Antonio and Charles of Alabama, Keivien Tillman of Averdeen, Washington; two daughters, 'Susie' Virginia Tillman Griffin of Westlake, La. and Freda Tillman of Beaumont, Texas; children's mother, Dorothy Tillman; nieces and nephews and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Royce will be dearly missed by all his family and friends.

Funeral services will be held in Starks, La., at the First Pentecost Church, coronated by Johnson's Funeral Home of Lake Charles, on Wednesday, April 18, at 1:00 p.m., followed by interment at Millers Cemetery.
