The Celebration of Life for Mr. Ricky Thompson, 47, of Houston, will be Saturday at 11:00 a.m. at Sparrow Funeral Home. The Rev. Michael Thompson of Arlington, will officiate. Rites of Christian Burial will follow in Hollywood Community Cemetery under the direction of Sparrow Funeral Home.

Visitation will be Saturday from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. at Sparrow Funeral Home.

He died April 11, at his residence.

A native of Mansfield, LA, he grew up in Orange, graduating from West Orange-Stark High School. He resided in Houston two years. He was employed as a sales associate at Conn’s Appliance Company.

Survivors include his mother, Verna Thompson, and one brother, Danny Thompson, both of Orange.
