Vehicles at two hotels burglarized overnight

Several vehicles were burglarized overnight at two hotels in the 2600 block of IH-10. Two vehicles were broken into at the Ramada Inn, and a total of over $1,600 worth of power tools were stolen. In both cases, locks were cut and removed from utility trailers.

In the second incident, a vehicle parked at the Holiday Inn Express, had its rear window broken out and the thieves gained entry through the broken window. Reportedly taken in that burglary were several power tools valued at over $2,000.

The victim said he wishes to pursue charges against any suspects identified.
