Ronald "Ronnie" Mack Stephens, 78, of Vidor, passed away comfortably Friday morning April 27, due to ongoing health issues. Upon retiring in bed he called his two Baby's Abby Gale and Casey to come on. They fell asleep and he never awoke.

It was a peaceful ending of his life here on earth. He was a member of the VFWlink post 8246 and attended Pine Forest Baptist Church. He was devoted father as well as a grandfather.

He is survived by his brother Harry Stephens of Orange; son Michael Ray Stephens; grandchildren Tommy, Timothy, Mellisa and Todd; son Ronald Mark Stephens of Beaumont; daughter Donna Gale Cooper of Oakley, CA; granddaughter Tabitha; daughter Connie Lynn Stunkard of Vidor; grandson Edwin.

I would like to thank Ronald Mack Stephens for his service, to the United States of America Marine Corps. Thank you for keeping us free. Daddy you will be missed.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 am Tuesday, May 1, at Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor, with burial to follow at Village Mills Cemetery in Village Mills, at 1:00 pm.

Visitation will begin at 6:00 pm Monday, April 30, at Memorial Funeral Home.
