A 27 year old Orange woman was assaulted and robbed Tuesday, June 19, in the 300 block of W. Dewey. Meagan Jones told police she had been assaulted and robbed by several subjects in the area.

Officer Michael Roush observed Jones to have a swollen and bleeding lip, and a laceration to her eye. Jones underwent an examination from Acadian Ambulance personnel at the scene, but refused to be transported to the ER.

Jones told police she would file charges and asked for a police report to be completed.
