LIT fiber optics class begins on Sept. 4

The Lamar Institute of Technology Workforce Training & Continuing Education Department will offer a Fiber Optics Training Course from Sept. 4-27.
The course is from 6-9 p.m. on Tuesdays and Thursdays at LIT.
The class prepares students for various aspects of fiber optic cable installation in a local area network environment. Mechanical splicing, connector installation and acceptance testing are taught with extensive hands-on practice.
