Al and Dean Granger, of Granger Chevrolet, along with their employees, took out time Friday afternoon to host a fashion show to raise money and raise awareness of breast cancer.

One by one, the male employees walked down the isle to the beat of the music. They wore wigs, hats, and decorated bras. The one thing all had in common was the color pink. As they walked around, they collected money to be donated. While dressed in their unique outfits, they game themselves new names such as Chevette or Stingray.

With each person who entered the room, they were met with cheers and hollars, but in the end left with dollars.

October is breast cancer awareness month.

About 1 in 8 women in the United States will develop invasive breast cancer over the course of her lifetime.

Breast cancer is the second leading cause of death among women with an estimated 230,000 new cases and 40,000 deaths expected in 2012.

Breast cancer is not just a problem for women. About 2,140 new cases are expected in men this year.

Excluding cancers of the skin, breast cancer is the most frequently diagnosed cancer in women.

This year 15,347 Texas women will be diagnosed with breast cancer while 2,770 Texas women will die from breast cancer.
