Little Cypress-Mauriceville High School’s Theatre Director, Cory Broom, has announced that the LCM High School Thespian Troupe recently participated in the Texas State Thespian Convention in Houston. The group performed several competition pieces and the Group Acting Team of Trevier Gonzalez, Alexa Guilbeau, Kallye Harris, Triston Stringer, and Austin White qualified for National Competition, which will be held in Lincoln, NE. this summer.

The troupe, which is pictured, earned this honor by receiving an overall ranking of "Superior" from all three contest judges.
