Jerrett "Jerry" M Ray, 82, of Deweyville, passed away Sunday, Jan. 6, at Harbor Hospice House in Beaumont. Born on May 28,1930, he was a longtime resident of Deweyville. He was a member of Orange County R/C club and loved to fly model airplanes. Mr. Ray enjoyed hunting and fishing.

He was preceded in death by his wife Joy Ray, and brother Joe Ray.

Those who will most cherish his memory are his daughter Wiley Seaton of Orange; grandchildren, Bert Seaton of Orange, and Amber Hudson of Deweyville; great grandchildren, Shauna Seaton, Zackary Hudson, and Rayden Hudson of Deweyville, and many other family members from South Padre Island.

Services by which to honor his life will be at 10:00 am, Thursday, Jan. 10, at Broussard’s Crematorium, 5150 Stivers, Beaumont.

Rite of Internment will follow at a later time at South Padre Island.
