A service of remembrance for Janet R. Hamilton, 62, of Orange will be held Saturday, Feb. 2, at 4:00 p.m. in the Claybar Kelley-Watkins Chapel in Beaumont. A gathering of friends and family will begin at 2:00 p.m. Saturday prior to the service.

Janet was born Oct. 20, 1950 in Big Spring, Tx. and died Jan. 29, in Beaumont. She was an Oncology RN, nursing professor at Lamar State College in Orange and Port Arthur, and a former school board member for West Orange-Cove ISD .

She is survived by her husband, Jeff Hamilton of Orange; daughter, Sally Hamilton and her husband, Alex Martinez, of Lewisville; son, J. J. Hamilton of Denton; one sister and four brothers.
