Little Cypress-Mauriceville Superintendent, Dr. Pauline Hargrove, received a letter from the Texas Education Agency on March 4, inviting Mauriceville Middle School teacher, Rhonda Brady, to be part of an educator committee to review and evaluate new test questions for the STAAR eighth grade math exam. Pearson, the contractor providing support services for the testing program, will pay the cost of travel, lodging, and meals for committee members as well as reimbursing the cost for substitute teachers.

Ms. Brady began teaching in 1992 and was certified sixth through ninth grade in math and science in North Carolina, where she taught for eight years. In Texas, she is certified in fourth through eighth grade math.

She is in her eighth year teaching in Texas, and her fourth year at LCM CISD.
