Three people died Sunday afternoon at McFaddin Beach. Officers who arrived at the scene believed two of the victims, a male and female, had been shot by a man, who then died from a self inflicted gunshot wound.

The Jefferson County Sheriff's Department is conducting an investigation into what led to the shooting. Identities of they victims have not been released.
