TXU Energy Presents Zoo Lights is back at the Houston Zoo, and more spectacular than ever this year – we’ve added more than 1 million lights. The display will open to the public through January 4, but will be closed December 24 and 25.

Grab a cup of hot chocolate and stroll through majestic oak trees sparkling with thousands of colorful LED lights. Get in the spirit of the season with festive holiday music.

Explore the enchanted forest, where you can see life-sized lighted animal sculptures, check out the all-new dollhouse village, and see holiday trains chugging through the landscape. Stare in amazement at “Holly Berry,” the 1957 Cadillac, that features thousands of vibrant lights dancing in time to joyful music.

Bring your camera to capture all the special moments, and seize the opportunity to get this year’s family holiday photo, too.

Zoo Lights hours are 6:00 p.m. – 10:00 p.m., with the last entry at 9:00 p.m. Zoo Lights is a separate event from general Zoo admission. The Zoo closes for the day at 5:00 p.m. and opens up for Zoo Lights at 6:00 p.m.
