Esther Louise Hoffpauir, 49, of Orange passed away on Friday, March 21, at The Meadows Nursing Home.

She was born on Oct. 22, 1964 in Orange to Sarah Vivian (Ousley) and Walter Daniel Hoffpauir Sr. She was a lifelong resident of Orange, and was employed at Wal-Mart as a cashier. Esther was a member of Harvest Chapel Church, and loved playing the guitar, singing, interior design, and taking care of her nieces and nephews. Esther was a loving person who will be missed dearly.

She is survived by her sisters, Martha Ellen Tyler, Kathleen Kelley, Frances Ann Lawson, all of Orange, and Lillie Gordey and husband, Mark of Bridge City; brothers, Terry Walter Hoffpauir of Vidor, Walter Daniel Hoffpauir Jr. and wife, Joette of Bridge City, Ralph Ray Hoffpauir of Orangefield, Fredrick Henry Hoffpauir of Orange, and James Karroll Hoffpauir of Orange,and numerous nieces and nephews.

The family will hold a Memorial Service on Saturday, March 29, at 2:00 pm at Harvest Chapel Church, 1305 Irving St, ini Orange, with Sister Ruth Burch officiating. Cremation was entrusted under the direction of Dorman Funeral Home.

In lieu of flowers donations may be make to Harvest Chapel Church in memory of Esther Hoffpauir to help the family with funeral expenses.
