A man who is suspected of murder is being sought by the Jefferson County Sheriff's Office. Cody Jamar Lewis, of Beaumont previously had a warrant issued for tampering with physical evidence, but Judge Beaulieu signed the murder warrant Monday, April 14.

Lewis, along with Arthur Christopher Harmon, 21, and Yiannis Nikolaos Mihail, 31, both of Beaumont, are all charged with murdering 53 year old Kevin Alton Moyer of Dallas. Moyer's body was found wrapped in a sheet in a vehicle on S. China Rd. April 5.

Harmon and Mihail have already been taken into custody.

Lewis should be considered armed and dangerous, and no attempt should be made to contain him if he is spotted. Anyone with information on his location should contact Crime Stoppers at 833-8477. Crime Stoppers will pay up to $1,000 for information leading to the location and arrest of Mr. Lewis or any other wanted fugitive.
