Easter turned tragic for an Orange family when the motorcycle a mother and daughter were riding crashed going into a curve on FM 1442 in Bridge City.

Ramona Tolman, 44, was driving a three-wheel motorcycle when she left the roadway, and striking a fence and a tree. Tolman was pronounced dead at the scene. Her 14 year old daughter was life-flighted to a Galveston hospital with serious injuries. Both riders were wearing helmets.

The Department of Public Safety is investigating the accident
