Lamar University graduated 23 students with honors during summer commencement ceremonies Aug. 16 in the Montagne Center. Local students included in commencement are listed below.

Graduating magna cum laude (with high honors), with GPAs of 3.65 to 3.79, was Jason C. Wall, of Bridge City, and Christopher Glynn Williams, of Orange.

Graduating cum laude (with honors), with GPAs of 3.5 to 3.64, was Victoria Ann Larned, of Vidor.
