Ezekiel O’Neal Harris, 28, a Texas 10 Most Wanted Sex Offender, is now in custody after being arrested on Aug. 13 in Ennis. Harris was wanted for failure to comply with sex offender registration requirements. Since his capture was the result of a tip, a reward up to $3,000 will be paid.
Responding to tip information, Texas Department of Public Safety (DPS) Criminal Investigations Division agents located Harris at an Ennis apartment complex where he was arrested without incident. Texas Highway Patrol and Ennis Police Department also assisted in the arrest. So far in 2014, DPS and other agencies have arrested 16 Texas 10 Most Wanted Fugitives and Sex Offenders, including eight sex offenders and six gang members, and $37,500 in rewards has been paid for tips that resulted in arrests.
