The Lamar University Spirit Team will host the Cheer and Dance Football Clinic Saturday, Oct. 4, at the Sheila Umphrey Recreational Sports Center from 8:30 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. for Pre-K through 8th grade cheerleaders and dancers.

Clinic participants will learn cheers and dance routines and will have the opportunity to show off their skills on the sidelines during the Lamar Cardinals home game against Southwestern Louisiana that evening during the annual Pink Out Game. Game organizers encourage all Lamar fans to wear pink to the game for breast cancer awareness.
