Stallions trample Longhorns

The WOSMS Stallions came away with three shutouts against Hamshire-Fannett. Seven/eight Combined B team started the night out winning 30-0.

On offense Je'Yohn Augustin lead the way scoring 2 TD's and 1 two point conversion. Demarcus Bruno and Tre'von Lee each added a TD with Bruno and Kalen Gilder each scoring on a conversion. Defensively Ja'Coven Hinson and Manuel Gomez each recovered a fumble, backed by Da'Quinn Jones and Roshawn Leday anchoring the D. In the 7th grade game the Stallions won 22-0. Wilbert Ned led way for the offense with 2 TD's and a 2 point conversion.

Jackson Tims connect with Ned for 1 of his TD's and converted on a 2 point play to Keontae Strother.

Strother rushed for a TD as well.

Ja'Vonn Ross, Da'vion Riggs and Devin Wheeler lead the Defense for the second shut out of the night.

In the final game of the night the Stallions blanked the short horns by a score of 44-0.


QB Brettlin Wiley connected with Deiondr'e Hawthorne and Justin Sibley for TD's and Ker'Vondrick Scott on a two point conversion.

Hawthorne caught another TD pass from Sibley and also returned a Punt for a TD. Sibley rushed for a two point conversion as well.

Jordan Johnson and Ja'Vonn Ross each had rushing TD's with Ross adding a 2 point conversion.

With the final shut out of the night the entire Stallion defensive played great and had 3 interceptions by Johnson, Wiley and Kenneth Cotton.

The Stallions will play at Newton next Thursday with kickoff at 5:00.
