Orange man captured after escaping from work detail

A Jasper jail trustee who escaped from a work detail and stole a truck, was captured in Evadale Saturday evening. Shane Borel, 39, of Orange, was found near the spot authorities had been searching for him.
Sheriff Mitchell Newman said Borel was on a work detail near Buna when he stole the pickup. Newman said the truck has not been located.
Borel had been in jail since September after being arrested on drug charges.
