Theresa Cormier Fall, 80, of Orange, passed away Dec. 27, at Orange Villa in Orange.

Mass of Christian burial will be at 10:30 a.m., Tuesday, Dec. 30, at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church in Orange with Father Tom Phelan officiating. Burial will follow at Mount Calvary Cemetery in Eunice, La., at 2:00 p.m.

Visitation will be from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m., Monday, Dec. 29, at Claybar Funeral Home in Orange with a Rosary beginning at 6:30 p.m.

Born in Eunice, Dec. 11, 1934 Theresa was the daughter of Theodule Cormier and Martha Andrepont Cormier. She retired from Little Cypress Mauriceville ISD and worked for many years as a cashier at HEB in Orange. She was a long time member at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church. Theresa enjoyed serving and volunteering in the community. She was very involved in her church. Theresa was a member of the Young at Heart Group, the Bereavement Committee, ACTS, the Altar Society, and a volunteer at Southeast Texas Hospice.


She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Nolan Fall; granddaughter, Misty Smitherman Morgan; sisters, Lily Bellow and Gussie Smith and brother, Roger Cormier.

She is survived by her son, Lanston Fall and wife, Cristi of Orange; daughter, Peggy Fall of Orange; grandchildren, Lance Fall, Kristen Williams, Tyson Plagens, Cody Harper, and Haley LeBlanc and great-grandchildren, Carson Fall, Camden Fall, Hannah LeBlanc, Allie Jo LeBlanc and Hadlee Harper.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Southeast Texas Hospice 912 West Cherry Avenue, Orange, Texas 77630.
