Destin Paul McKay, 23, of Orange, passed away Dec. 27, in Orange.

Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m., Thursday, Jan. 1, at Claybar Funeral Home in Orange. Officiating will be Pastor George Gau of Turning Point Church in Vidor and the Rev. Kevin Brown of First Baptist church in Mauriceville.

Visitation will be from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., Wednesday, Dec. 31, at Claybar Funeral Home in Orange.

Born in Orange, April 14, 1991, Destin was the son of Brewer McKay and Deidra McKay. He enjoyed fishing, hunting and roping. Destin loved spending time with his family, friends and loving girlfriend, Whitney. He lived life to the fullest and will be greatly missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing him.

He was preceded in death by his father; grandfather, Paul Clemons and grandfather, Lannie McKay.

He is survived by his mother, Deidra McKay; sisters, Ashton McKay and fiancé, Kevin Golemon and Madison McKay; the love of his life, Whitney Schoenberg; Maw Maw, Shirley Clemons; Maw Maw, Mary Ann Girlinghouse, Papa M.J. Girlinghouse; uncles and aunts, Don and Sharon Bussell, Kim and Zane Levens; cousins, Devin, Trey, and Taylor Bussell and Zoe and Luke Levens and many other extended family.

Serving as pallbearers will be Devin Bussell, Trey Bussell, Michael Humphrey, Caleb Fountain, Dillon Bailey, Brandon Holloway, JC Mayfield, Bryant Fuslier, Justin Mulhollan, Derrick Bufford, Taylor Thompson, Tyler Derouen, Gary Hooker, Reagon Schoenberg, Aharon Fukuda, Brent Wilhelm, Tanner Hyman, Howard Stansbury, Taylor Ridgaway and Mitchell Brown. Honorary pallbearer is Luke Levens.
