Peggy Jo Wagner, 83, of Orange, passed away Feb. 7, at Mid-Jefferson Extended Care Hospital in Nederland.

Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m., Thursday, Feb. 12, at Claybar Funeral Home in Orange. Officiating will be the Rev. Carl Wagner. Burial will follow at Autumn Oaks Memorial Park in Orange.

Visitation will be from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Wednesday, Feb. 11, at Claybar Funeral Home in Orange.

Born in DeRidder, La., on July, 17 1931, she was the daughter of Hal Slaydon and Ruby Lea DuBose Slaydon. Peggy loved gardening, going to garage sales, shopping and baking.

She is preceded in death by husband, Edward Wagner; son, William Goodwin and daughter, Tina Goodwin.

She is survived by her sons, Ellis Goodwin, Jr. of Orange and Ronald Wagner and wife Sonia of Groves; daughter, Aileen Howard and husband Robert of Port Neches; brother, Sambo Slaydon of DeRidder; four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
