The Celebration of Life for Mrs. Doris Jackson, 93, of Vinton, will be Tuesday, Feb. 24, at 11:00 a.m. at the St. Paul Missionary Baptist Church. Rites of Christian Burial will follow in Hollywood Community Cemetery under the direction of Sparrow Funeral Home.

Visitation will be Tuesday, from 10:00 until 11:00 a.m. at the church.

She died Feb. 13, at Harbor Hospice in Lake Charles.

A native of Downsville, LA, she resided in Vinton 15 years. She was a member of the St. Paul Missionary Baptist Church.

She is survived by one son, Donzell Jackson of Fairfax Station, VA; two daughters, Doris Stephens of Chicago, IL, and Delores Bell of Vinton; one sister, Faye Ola Bailey of San Leandro, CA; eight grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren.
