The LCM UIL Prose and Poetry team had a strong showing at the Sabine Pass UIL Academic Meet this past weekend. Placing in Finals (L to R) Meg Clark, 4th Poetry; Alex Borel, 1st Poetry; Connor Alexander, 1st Prose and Dalton Teeler, 2nd Prose.

Additionally, the team captured the First Place Overall Speech Team Award. The students are coached by LCM Theatre Director Cory Broom and will travel to Brenham this weekend to compete against students from various schools across the state.
