For the second time is as many days, the Kwick Stop #2, located at 1427 Strickland Drive in Pinehurst was robbed.

Saturday, Feb. 29, at 8:30 p.m., a white male entered the convenience store. He approached the counter and placed several items down as if to pay for them. He then demanded cash from the register while indicating he had a weapon in his pocket. The clerk complied. The suspect, who is believed to be the same person that robbed the store the day before, left with an unknown amount of U.S. Currency.

The suspect, who police have tentatively identified and whose name is being withheld pending formal charges, is also a person of interest in a robbery and attempted robbery of two other convenience stores in Orange County also occurring the previous day. He remains at large.
