Recount reverses winner in Orange City Council election

A recount on Monday has reversed the winner in a city council election in District 1 in Orange. The original count had Deborah Mitchell (134 votes) defeating Patrick Pullen (133 votes) by one vote in the May 9 election. In the recount, Pullen received the 134 votes to Mitchell's 133 votes.
