Arlene K. Smith, 86, of Beaumont, died Wednesday, Aug. 19, at Oakwood Manor Nursing Home, Vidor. She was born Feb. 2, 1929 in Haleyville, Al. Arlene enjoyed going camping and traveling and admired her cats and pets. She had fun in her life and loved her family.

Survivors include her children, Jackie Harrison and his wife, Landra, of Orange; Robert Smith and his wife, Betsy, of Winnie; Vicki Greiger and her husband, Glen; seven grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her mother, Susie Stultz; husband, Fred Smith; son, Tommy Lynn Harrison and first husband, Robert Harrison.

A gathering of Mrs. Smith’s family and friends will begin at 1:00 p.m. with her funeral service to follow at 2:00 p.m., Friday, Aug. 21, at Broussard’s, Beaumont. Her interment will follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Park, Beaumont.
