Fallon Foster, County Extension Agent, Family and Consumer Science will be offering the last Food Handlers Class for 2015. Along with this being the last class for the year, it will be held in the evening to accommodate those who work mornings or during the day. The class is a basic overview of food safety practices that are necessary to ensure you serve safe food at your establishment such as but not limited to: good personal hygiene, cross contamination and time and temperature abuse. The class is scheduled for Sept. 21, 5-8 pm ,at the Extension office. Cost is $20 per person payable by check or cash the evening of the class.
